Project AgriNext

AgriNext or Agricultural and rural excellence Incubator and Platform for the Exchange of competencies is an Erasmus+ project that aims to create a learning environment that responds to the skill demand on the job market in the field of multifunctional agriculture. The goals include the flexibility of the learning environment, strengthening the competences of teachers, creating a business incubator for students, etc. The project started on June 1, 2022 and will last 48 months, and Skink d.o.o. is one of the partners in this international project. Project GEAVET

GEAVET is a project composed of a series of initiatives addressing the challenges of climate change and the mismatch between job requirements and the skills provided by the education and vocational training systems in a specific context, namely that of Vocational and Educational Training systems in the field of Agriculture in Sub-Saharan Africa. These initiatives include activities of research, needs analyses, development of training formats, mobility activities, online campaigns, and conferences. All of these actions are oriented towards the enhancement of T-VET capacities in Sub-Saharan Africa, empowering women and youths in agriculture and boosting digital and green transitions. The project started on 1.12.2023 and lasts 36 months, and Skink is one of the partners. You can find more about the project here: https://geavet.eu/. Project SNuGSy
Starting 1st of Januray 2025, Skink has been one of the partners in the project “Development of intelligent system to support the production and sale of planting material – Smart Nursery Garden System” – IP.1.1.03.0056. The project is co-financed by the “Integrated Territorial Program” for the financial period 2021-2027 as part of the Call for Proposals “Strengthening Strategic Partnerships for Innovation in the Industrial Transition Process”.
Other partners in the project are: PROAXIS d.o.o., NIVAGO d.o.o., RASADNIK LONGO, and the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Informatics and Digital Technologies.
The project includes the development of an intelligent hardware-software system to support the production and sale of planting material, which aims to improve the process of growing planting material and its sale:
a) The production support system includes support for the protection of planting material with the prevention and early detection of diseases and pests and the implementation of predictions in the growing process;
b) A system to support targeted and automated irrigation;
c) The sales support system includes monitoring the specific needs of consumers for planting material. The implementation of the project establishes a strategic partnership for innovation that includes companies with various complementary activities and the scientific community and the Center for Agriculture and Rural Development of the Primorje – Gorski Kotar County with the aim of developing sophisticated tools to support the production of planting material and a system for monitoring consumer needs for planting material.
The project started on January 1st 2025 and lasts until December 31st 2027. The total value of the project is 2,179,990.42 euros, and the total grant funds are 1,406,371.47 euros.
